Calculate your meeting's carbon footprint, identify decarbonisation drivers, redefine the meeting's purpose, and... have fun! 😊
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 goals established in 2015 to address global challenges and create a better, more sustainable future for all. These goals cover a wide range of issues, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace, and justice.
The ActNow campaign encourages individuals to take action towards achieving these goals, emphasizing that collective efforts can lead to significant positive changes for our planet and society.
The idea for this calculator was sparked as a fun project, inspired by some recent work on GHG emission estimation and identifying decarbonisation drivers. It also stems from never-ending meetings on how to reduce time wasted in meetings. I am convinced that decarbonisation is a way to improve efficiency, and it can only be effectively applied when equipped with proper metrics. So why not use it to optimise meetings?
I hope it will help you save some time, help the planet, and maybe bring a smile to your face. Enjoy!
